Employment Law
According to the Employment Law, employment regulation applies to nearly all employees, with a few exceptions, irrespective of workplace size and conditions. The Employment Law is the most fundamental legal foundation for employees in Turkey.

In addition, the Turkish Code of Obligations has the force of general law and must be considered in situations not covered by the preceding statutes. It also has a division that investigates employment law. Some employees are required to act strictly in accordance with the Turkish Code of Obligations.

Numerous foreign corporations have investments in Turkey, and Turkish labour law can occasionally provide an obstacle for these companies.
